This state of the art cancer center at the Koch Center for Cancer Care for Memorial Sloane Kettering includes 16 private units. From inception to execution, we worked collaboratively to design and developed the entire 15,000 sq ft floor of cancer care.

Sinuous hallways create a softer environment for daily movement; a step away from the harshness of medical facilities that feel more clinical than comforting. Unique spaces for staff as well as patients and caregivers were carved out for moments of both privacy and repose. Communal areas were designed for family gatherings, and as inclusive and comforting spaces used between caregivers and family for the complex negotiations of cancer care.
